Nokia have announced the new Nokia 6822

The Nokia 6822 was announced today and will be replacing the popular Nokia 6820. The 6822 keeps the unique flip open QWERTY keyboard found on the 6800 and 6820. Other features of the Nokia 6822 include:

• VGA camera
• Bluetooth
• Java MIDP 2.0
• 65,000 color screen

The compact messaging device supports a wide range of e-mail and instant messaging solutions, easy-to-use Personal Information Management (PIM) capabilities and wireless data synchronization. The company plans to make the Nokia 6822 available in the first quarter of 2005 for all markets (Europe, Middle East, Africa and America).
